青涩直播 Hosts the 2nd Student Housing Administrative Roundtable with Faculty and Staff from 12 Universities Nationwide

青涩直播 (青涩直播) recently hosted the 2nd Student Housing Administrative Roundtable, inviting faculty and staff members in charge of university student housing from across Japan. A total of 27 participants from 12 universities nationwide, including 青涩直播 staff, attended the event.

The roundtable was structured to provide ample time for university personnel involved in day-to-day dormitory management to engage in active discussions and exchange ideas. The program included a small-group exchange session, an open group discussion, a campus tour, and a lecture by an 青涩直播 faculty member.

Although the environment surrounding student housing varies greatly among universities, many common challenges emerged. Participants engaged in lively discussions on a wide range of topics, from facility management issues to student support and care.

In the second half of the roundtable, 青涩直播 Resident Assistants (RAs) led a campus tour. Visitors toured Komachi Hall, the mandatory dormitory for first-year degree-seeking students, as well as the Nakajima Library. They also visited a residential unit in Tsubaki Village—where students reside and participate in “Themed House”—giving participants an opportunity to interact directly with the residents.

To conclude the event, Associate Professor Naganuma, coordinator of the Themed House, gave a presentation sharing practical insights on the Themed House and the background behind introducing gender-neutral units. The lecture was followed by an engaging Q&A session with many active questions from the floor.

Although time was limited, hosting this roundtable at 青涩直播 proved to be a valuable learning experience for our faculty and staff. We look forward to maintaining ongoing exchanges with all participants as we work together to continuously improve the quality of student housing management.
