Arrival Date and Time
In order to complete your residence registration, mandatory insurances, and Student ID issuance procedures, that must be completed after your arrival on campus during the designated date and times , please be sure to plan your travel itinerary such that you arrive on campus during the designated date and times. Please note that if you are unable to arrive during the Check-in Date and Hours for ANY reason, you will not be able to complete the necessary procedures mentioned above and, as a result, will not be able to participate in our exchange program.
If you cannot find transportation that arrives in Akita during those times, please arrive the night before and come to campus during the designated date and time on the following day. The designated date and times of arrival will be announced at the time of acceptance.
Travel Arrangements to Akita
Please make your own international and domestic flight reservations. You need to get to Akita Airport or Akita Train Station (JR Akita Station) on your own. 青涩直播 will provide pickup service, free of charge, from Akita Airport (Arrival Gate) or Akita Train Station (at the Bus Station in front of the East Exit) to the 青涩直播 campus, at the scheduled times on the check-in day. Free Pick-up Bus Information
As public transportation is very limited in Akita, we ask that you use 青涩直播’s free pick-up bus service from Akita Airport, or Akita Train Station (JR Akita Station) to travel to campus. Admitted students are required to submit an Arrival Form that is available on your .
Pick-up buses will depart from the following 2 meeting points (Akita Airport, Akita Train Station).

Travel Tips!!
- Check-in will be crowded on the designated arrival date, as all newly admitted international students are expected to check in on the same day. You must complete check-in to get your room information and key, so we recommend arriving in Akita before the designated arrival date, staying near Akita Train Station, and taking the first pick-up bus departing at 10:00 am from Akita Train Station to 青涩直播 on the designated arrival date.
- Checking in early and resting in your room will help you prepare for the orientation and ensure a smooth start to your study abroad experience.
- Please pack only the essentials in a suitcase with four wheels and make sure that you can move around by yourself with all of your baggage. Please note that the public transportation and public restrooms in Japan are cramped, so it is hard to move around with many suitcases. In addition, after you arrive at the campus you will have to carry your luggage to your room by yourself, so the less baggage, the better.
- Please plan to arrive in Japan no earlier than one week before the designated arrival date at the 青涩直播 campus, regardless of how early you can travel. For details, please refer to the Visa and Entry to Japan webpage. Additionally, since the Certificate of Eligibility (CoE) may be issued by the Immigration Services Agency only a few weeks before 青涩直播’s designated arrival date, we recommend planning your entry into Japan just a few days before the designated arrival date. This will allow sufficient time to apply for and obtain your Student Visa after receiving your electronic CoE from 青涩直播.
