| 講義概要 Lecture Summary： | 最近の中东での出来事は、中东からの安定的なエネルギー供给が日本やアジア地域のエネルギー安全保障にとって不可欠であるのみならず、世界経済に大きな影响を与えることを改めて我々に认识させた。アジア?アフリカ?欧州に接する中东地域は、また、グローバル?サプライチェーンの要衝である红海?スエズ运河を拥している。このように、中东の安定と繁栄は世界の安定にとって不可欠であり、「自由で开かれたインド太平洋」の一翼をなす重要な地域である。中东と日本が１９世纪の同时代に近代化への歩みを始めたという记忆の共有もまた、両者の友好関係を支えている。こうした中东の重要性に鑑み、日本は、様々な日本独自の开発协力などを通じて、パートナーとして、中东の安定と繁栄の実现に向けて取り组んできた。この讲义では、日本と中东の歴史的なつながりを绍介し、日本にとっての中东の重要性、日本の中东との开発协力の特徴やその成果、及び开発协力が日本の中东外交で果たした役割について分析する。最后に日本と中东の协力の在り方の今后について议论する。 Recent events in the Middle East have served as a renewed reminder that a stable energy supply from the region is vital not only to the energy security of Japan and Asia but also to the global economy. Situated at the crossroads of Asia, Africa, and Europe, the Middle East encompasses the Red Sea and the Suez Canal—critical chokepoints for global supply chains. Thus, the stability and prosperity of the Middle East are essential for global stability, and the region plays a pivotal role in the “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” initiative. The shared historical memory of both Japan and the Middle East embarking on the path to modernization during the 19th century also underpins their friendly relations. Recognizing this importance, Japan has worked as a partner toward achieving stability and prosperity in the region through various forms of uniquely Japanese development cooperation. This lecture will outline the historical ties between Japan and the Middle East, analyze the region’s importance to Japan, examine the characteristics and achievements of Japan’s development cooperation there, and assess the role such cooperation has played in Japan’s diplomacy toward the region. Finally, the lecture will discuss the future direction of cooperation between Japan and the Middle East. |
